Roy Montgomery, author of our popular Village Booklet series has pulled another one out of the hat – Ibsley.
Ibsley village lies just north of Ringwood. It was the first of the RAF stations built in World War II, and was used by both British and American services. Maybe someone in your family was stationed here during the war, or perhaps your connections with the village go back much further than that.
As with all of Roy’s booklets, this new one is bursting with surnames, local history, and useful Hampshire Record Office references.
