Abbotts Ann Village Booklet
Abbotts Ann is situated 3 miles south-east of Andover with the A303 running along part of the northern border.
The main railway line west from Andover to Swindon is a further part of the northern border with the branch line to Salisbury running through the western part of the parish. The A343 from Andover to Salisbury also runs through the eastern part. The hamlet of Little Ann is just to the east of the village. The Pilhill Brook runs from west to east and at times is prone to flooding.
Among the local family names appearing across the centuries are COLLINS, HORN, PRINCE and REDMAN.
