Conference cancellation
Due to the continued uncertainty of the ‘Lockdown’ in the UK caused by the Covid-19 crisis, we wish to announce that the proposed 2020 Conference Day has been cancelled. I can confirm that the 2021 Conference Day (including AGM) will take place on Saturday 12th June 2021.
Monies received for 2020 tickets already booked will be refunded.
However, we are obliged by the Charities Commission to hold an AGM this year and will notify the membership of its format and date as soon as we can. Other societies have held ‘virtual’ AGMs and we are exploring this format.
The welfare and health of our membership is important to the Society, and we hope this action by the Society is recognised.
We look forward to the time when we can all resume a normal life.
